This recall involves the Borax powder packet that was provided with each order of slime from Slime Smoothies.
The activator solution we use is 1 tsp of Borax diluted in 1 cup of water. This mixture has been proven to be safe and our slimes have also been proven to be safe for distribution. This recall is for the Borax packet, only.
As of October 13, 2023, we have stopped providing extra Borax powder with our orders.
Due to Borax powder being considered a hazardous chemical, we can no longer provide extra Borax powder with products that are considered toys.
We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
Borax powder is readily available at your local market and can be purchased to reactivate the slime.
Please make sure to follow the instructions in our Slime Care Instructions card and the mixture is made by an individual 14+ years of age.
